The company “Microtest” completed the first stage of building an enterprise management system based on the platform “1 P: Enterprise 8″ in the Russian trading company holding ESAB.
International Holding ESAB is based in Gothenburg (Sweden) in 1904, the company’s head office in London. Now ESAB – the world’s leading producer of welding materials and equipment for virtually all areas related to welding and cutting metals.
The products holding company produce 26 plants, located on four continents. The total number of employees is more than 7.8 thousand people. ESAB turnover for 2007 reached 970.8 million pounds.
The Russian unit ESAB – OOO “ESAB” – sells equipment and provides services in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries.
In connection with the growth of Russian business units in the existing system of holding not meet its requirements for functionality, control, convenience and sustainability work.
The project began in early 2007, Under the first stage of specialists “Microtest” automated: operational accounting; financial records in accordance with corporate standards ESAB (IFRS); accounting and tax accounting, as well as calculation of wages for RAS. In commercial operation system was launched earlier this year. Today, automated and about 60 jobs.
The company serves Microtest escort system, providing professionals ESAB methodical and technological support.
The developed organically decision fits into the overall corporate standards and regulations, unified for all companies ESAB and development strategies consistent with the information systems company in the coming years.
Within the framework of further development project in OOO “ESAB” will be held development and subsequent introduction of the module procurement, budgeting, management of cash. This development will enable the system to raise the level of automation of business processes of the company, reduce costs of preparing and shaping accountability, improve the quality of customer service.
