The company Intersoft Lab, provider of data warehousing and BPM-systems, is beginning a project to create an integrated system of class Business Performance Management (BPM) in “Gazenergoprombanke”, is part of TOR-50 Russian banks.
The bank implemented a data warehouse, which will form the basis for a comprehensive BPM-system. On the basis of this decision will automate the production of mandatory reporting to the Bank of Russia, in the long run – and management requirements for IFRS.
In the first phase of the project in the bank implemented a data warehouse (HD) “Path Corporation” (HD) version 3.0. HD-based DBMS Oracle Database integrated with an automated banking system “Quorum”, which will collect accounting data from the bank head office and 16 – ty affiliates. In so doing will ensure the consolidation of business information bank.
In the second phase in the repository gathered data on Contracts (transactions), who recorded with the help of specialized back-office accounting systems. Once the data cleanse and consolidate in HD, automation will be possible release of several reports to the Bank of Russia on the basis of data on transactions.
To receive reports and detailed reporting indicators Bank staff will use Oracle Business Intelligence SE One – analytical platform for reportinga and business analysis.
As a result, works in the 2008-2009 city bank plans to automate production of 30 – ty reporting forms, in the long run – over 60 – ty (CBR for all Russian banks are preparing for more than 70 reporting forms). Also BPM-based system automates bank management accounting, including budgeting household expenses; financial planning; reporting on IFRS; functionally-value analysis and other performance management processes.
