The company R-Style Softlab has completed the second phase of implementation (started in April 2007) software system RS-Balance 3 in corporation «Baltpromkomplekt».
The aim of the project – the automation of management processes sales and purchases in the company «Baltpromkomplekt», which specializes, among other things, to supply steel, oil products and chemical raw materials.
The greatest challenge was the establishment of more effective communication between the customer’s head office in St. Petersburg and remote branch offices the company.
The project implementation was originally divided into several stages. This is due to the complexity of the business, its geographical distribution, the complex organizational structure and the diversity of activities of the customer.
The first phase was implemented circuit «Sales». The second phase is to introduce functional «Procurement» and implementation of integration with existing applications. The third stage is planned automation of storage processes.
The second phase of the work was completed in October 2008: implemented the scheme documentation customer, automated operations commodity logistics.
At this point in the «Baltpromkomplekte» automated about 50 jobs the main office in St. Petersburg. 2 more people (at branches) – are still operating in the old generation, so one of the main challenges was the integration phase to ensure a smooth and painless transition to the new version.

In the near future introduction of a functional system for warehouse automation of business processes. Thus, by the end of the third phase of the «Baltpromkomplekta» will be fully supported by RS Balance 3, the staff of head office and branches will work in a unified information space.
