Vladimir State University first among Russian universities is implementing a quality management system (QMS) using the products of ARIS.
Vladimir State University (VlGU) identified key processes to develop a quality management system. To simulate the processes and information support for the development of QMS University chose a methodology and software tool series ARIS 7.0 of IDS Scheer, previously conducted a comparative analysis of methodologies IDEF and ARIS.

Delivery of ARIS in VlGU made under the program «ARIS Platform for educational institutions. The company IDS Scheer Russia and CIS countries and Vladimir State University entered into a partnership agreement under which eight specialists VlGU trained on the program «The modeling business. The methodology and tools ARIS 7.0 ». They then developed a model of tree functions YKU and model description of the functions for all business processes YKU VlGU. After examination by specialists, and the University of IDS Scheer was established model as a basis for the development of QMS VlGU.
When building the university management system, including the quality management system, the company proposes to use IDS Scheer process approach. The high dynamics of changes of external and internal environment requires a high flexibility of the system of governance. The best way to comply with this requirement management system based on reducing the number of hierarchical relationships in the decision-making (this is what ensures the process approach).
